Vatican City - Pope John Paul furthered his campaign to expand the number of Roman Catholic saints when he beatified another six people yesterday. The Pope, who has now beatified 938 people in his 20-year pontificate - far more than any of his predecessors - bestowed the honour on five Italians and a Belgian. The 79-year-old Pope looked weary as he presided over the three-hour ceremony in front of thousands in an overcast St Peter's Square.
