Bolton (10) v Man City (16)
Steve Howey could be set for his Bolton debut with Emerson Thome ruled out through suspension. Greek striker Stelios Giannakopoulos has failed to shake off a hamstring strain but captain Jay-Jay Okocha is back from African Nations Cup duty with Nigeria and should figure.
City have Nicolas Anelka, Paul Bosvelt and Joey Barton suspended, while Trevor Sinclair is rated extremely doubtful with a calf injury. England keeper David James returns after being cup-tied for last week's defeat at Manchester United.
Charlton (6) v Blackburn (14)
Charlton have Jason Euell back to full fitness after his bruised foot. Captain Matt Holland is fit after shrugging off a neck injury, defender Gary Rowett is nearing a first-team return from his knee injury but Richard Rufus (knee) and Kevin Lisbie (back) are still sidelined.
Blackburn could rest Lucas Neill following his trip to Venezuela to play for Australia but international team-mate Brett Emerton looks set to recover from the ankle injury which ruled him out of the South American haul. Craig Short is back in contention following a slight back injury.
Chelsea (3) v Arsenal (1)
Damien Duff (Achilles) and Hernan Crespo (illness) miss out for Chelsea but John Terry is hopeful of being fit after withdrawing from the England squad with a shin injury. Carlo Cudicini (groin) is out and Neil Sullivan will continue to deputise in goal.
Thierry Henry is set to return to Arsenal's starting line-up but Arsene Wenger is afflicted by several other injury problems ahead of the game. Henry has recovered from a foot problem, while Wenger is also hoping Sol Campbell and Fredrik Ljungberg will be fit after groin and rib problems respectively.
However, Ashley Cole is out with a back problem but Gilberto Silva is set to play after recovering from an ankle injury. Martin Keown is suspended.
Man Utd (2) v Leeds (19)
Ole Gunnar Solskjaer will be hoping to figure for the first time in five months after a reserve team run-out last night. Wes Brown conceded a penalty in the same game and is likely to be on the bench. Striker Louis Saha is available after being cup-tied for last week's win over Manchester City.
Mark Viduka is banned for Leeds' after the Australian football authorities invoked a FIFA ruling following his failure to report for international duty in midweek. Paul Robinson is suspended so Scott Carson makes his full debut in goal. Eirik Bakke (thigh) and Didier Domi (ankle) should be fit but Lucas Radebe (hamstring) is doubtful and Jody Morris (knee) and Michael Duberry (ribs) are still out. Lamine Sakho and Salomon Olembe are available again after African Nations Cup duty and the former could partner Alan Smith up front.
Newcastle (5) v Middlesbrough (13)
Newcastle are missing Jonathan Woodgate, who is sidelined by a groin problem. Andy Griffin is out with an Achilles strain but Craig Bellamy has recovered from a swollen knee and could start.
Middlesbrough are without fullback Franck Queudrue who is suspended after picking up five bookings. Ugo Ehiogu and George Boateng could return after injury.
Southampton (12) v Everton (15)
Former England Under-21 captain David Prutton is back in contention for Southampton after serving a three-match ban. Captain Jason Dodd is fit after an ankle injury while Claus Lundekvam returns to the squad after six weeks out with a torn hamstring. Scotland international Neil McCann is still out with hamstring trouble while midfielder Matt Oakley (knee ligaments) is out for the rest of the season.
Nigerian defender Joseph Yobo is in line for an Everton comeback having returned from the African Nations Cup with a bronze medal for third place. David Weir is still out with an ankle injury, while goalkeeper Richard Wright is getting closer to a squad return now he is back in full training after a knee
operation. Li Tie will miss the rest of the season following a broken leg suffered in training with China. Everton's only other injury worry is striker Duncan Ferguson, who has a groin problem but he is expected to be in the squad.
Wolverhampton (20) v Fulham (8)
Wolves have Paul Ince back from suspension and Henri Camara pushing for a recall after returning from the African Nations Cup. Shaun Newton should have recovered from a calf strain in time to be available.
Fulham captain Lee Clark has not recovered from his Achilles' injury as quickly as expected and misses out. Centre-back Alain Goma (hamstring) will be fit but Junichi Inamoto suffered a gashed shin with Japan and is a doubt. Facundo Sava and Mark Pembridge (both calf) and Collins John and Jerome
Bonnissel (both ankle) are still sidelined.

Aston Villa (7) v Birmingham (9)
Villa are without knee injury victim Mark Delaney and Ulises De La Cruz has been recalled to replace him. Skipper Olof Mellberg and striker Darius Vassell are fit to continue after being sidelined by illness earlier in the week and Dion Dublin is poised to return to the squad after treatment for a groin problem. Gavin McCann completes a three-match ban.
Blues boss Steve Bruce are without Stan Lazaridis, who suffered a hamstring injury when on midweek duty for Australia against Venezuela but David Dunn and Stephen Clemence are back in contention after lengthy lay-offs with hamstring problems. Bruce has to decide whether to recall Christophe Dugarry to the starting line-up or again persevere with the Clinton Morrison-Mikael Forssell combination.
Tottenham (11) v Leicester (18)
Frederic Kanoute is back in the Tottenham squad after returning from African Nations Cup duty with Mali. However, the striker will almost certainly have to be content with a place on the bench after new signing Jermain Defoe - his former West Ham colleague - scored in each of his first two games. Darren
Anderton is available again after injury and suspension, while Christian Ziege is also fit again and Simon Davies faces a late test. Captain Jamie Redknapp is short of match fitness while Anthony Gardner and Helder Postiga are still ruled out with hamstring problems.
Leicester midfielder Muzzy Izzet is expected to return to action at White Hart Lane on Sunday after spending six weeks on the sidelines with a calf injury. Defender Peter Canero and midfielder Billy McKinlay could also feature after recovering from injuries but the thigh problem afflicting Lee Morris means the striker is doubtful.
