Traffic delays are expected in Dun Laoghaire, Foxrock and Killester this month due to the construction of footpaths and work by Telecom Eireann.

A new bridge for traffic has opened on the Lucan Road at The Deadman's Inn. The inbound bus lane at Quarryvale, which was open to all drivers during the bridge construction work, has reverted to bus use only.

Luke Street will be closed until May 5th, and traffic will be diverted via Poolbeg Street and Tara Street, Burgh Quay and Hawkins Street.

Delays are also expected on Beach Road and Griffith Avenue between Tolka Estate Road and Ballygall Road due to pipe-laying work.

Diversions will be in place in Swords over the next couple of months due to daily pipe-laying work from Bridge Street to Ward River to Main Street.

There will be single-lane traffic and temporary lights on the N52 between Reddypenny and Dundalk in Co Louth for the next four weeks due to roadworks.

In Co Mayo, delays are likely on the N29 which is closed at Burrishoole Bridge between Newport and Mulrany for the next three months. A detour is in place, and traffic on Achill Island will be affected.

In Limerick significant delays are expected at peak and off-peak times until August 1st at Baals Bridge, Mary Street and Lock Quay due to construction work on Abbey Bridge, Hassetts Cross and Athlunkard Street.

Liberty Street in Cork is closed between its junctions with Cross Street and South Main Street until the end of April for repaving work.

A section of the MidletonCork road at Little Island will be closed from next Monday to Friday, May 29th, due to the completion of the Little Island interchange on the Dunkettle/ Carrigtwohill by-pass.

A speed restriction is in place and flagmen are on duty due to roadworks on the N16 Sligo-Enniskillen road about four miles west of Manorhamilton until the end of the year.

In Co Donegal there is severe traffic disruption on the Ballybofey road leading out of Donegal town until the end of May due to the construction of a by-pass. Traffic is reduced to single lane and temporary traffic lights are in place.

Diversions are in place on the N14 in Enfield, Co Meath, between 9.30 a.m. and 5 p.m. due to traffic-calming works until October. Drivers should use an alternative route.
