Dublin:
BARNEY'S Lane (the road from the Saggart junction on to the Naas Road to Lucan) is closed until April 13th. Diversions are in place.
The following roads are affected by roadworks or traffic restrictions: Anglesea Road; Finglas Road on the northbound carriageway near the junction with Wellmount Road; Griffith Avenue; Hume Street; Philips burgh Avenue; the eastbound lane on North Wall Quay; Harcourt Street; Oscar Traynor Road in Coolock; Dorset Street and Leeson Street Upper.
Henry Street-Mary Street will be closed until November 30th. There will be no through traffic but delivery vehicles will be accommodated.
Other road closures include Essex Street West and Carlton Road.
Meath:
Major roadworks continue in Dunboyne village for the next five to seven weeks. Temporary lights are in operation and very long delays are expected.
Carlow:
Roadworks in Kildavin on the border with Co Wexford, on the Carlow-Bunclody road, will continue for several months. Delays are expected.
Kildare:
Construction of the new sewerage system in Kilcullen has started. Traffic on Main Street will be disrupted for six weeks.
Limerick:
Emergency roadworks on Lower Cecil Street from Henry Street to Howley's Quay will continue until mid-March. A local diversion is in place. There are traffic restrictions at Lock Quay, and on the N7 Limerick-Dublin road from Sally mount to Daly's Cross.
A new one-way traffic system in being operated in Raheen Industrial Estate.
Cork:
Popes Road is closed at its junction with Rathmore Park for the next three months due to drainage work: there is no through road from Old Youghal Road to Blackpool as a result and drivers travelling between Dillon's Cross and Blackpool should use Glen Avenue instead.
The park n' ride shuttle service continues to operate on Saturdays between County Hall and Grand Parade. Services operate every 15 minutes from 9.30 a.m. until 6.15 p.m.
Galway:
The entrance to the NUI on the Newcastle Road has been closed for building work for 12 months. Traffic should enter via University Road. Roadworks are continuing on the coast road from Galway to Oranmore for the next few months.
Leitrim:
There are realignment works on the N16 Sligo-Enniskillen Road about four miles west of Manorhamilton. Speed restriction are in operation.
Belfast:
Refurbishment work is continuing on Albert Bridge. Traffic is two lanes at peak hours and one lane at off-peak times.
Armagh:
The A51 Madden Road in Tandragee is closed due to bridge reconstruction work until next month.
Donegal:
There are roadworks on the Main Street in Stranorlar with a one-way system and diversion in place. Roadworks on the Sligo side of Donegal town continue until June. Work also continues on the Donegal by-pass, with temporary traffic lights on the N15 just north of Donegal town. Drivers are advised to exercise extreme caution in the area.
Rail information:
For another six weeks between Monday mid-mornings and Friday afternoons, train services between Dublin and Galway will be disrupted by track upgrading work. Bus transfers are in operation between Ballinasloe and Galway.
