Dublin
Duct-laying will take place on Charlemont Street for the next two weeks. Cablelink will be carrying out work on Rathfarnham Road, Harold's Cross Road and Kimmage Road Lower and West for the next month.
Work will be carried out on Drumcondra Road and Home Farm Road between 7.30 a.m and 4 p.m. over the coming week, although it will be confined to outward lanes only. Road repairs will affect South Circular Road and Ringsend.
Clonskeagh Road will be reduced to one lane between Eglington Road and the bridge over the River Dodder. Delays likely at Rathmines Road Upper near the Vernon Road junction.
York Street, between Mercer Street and St Stephen's Green West, will undergo periodic closures until September 27th.
Major cabling works are in place in Stradbrook Road, Blackrock, and work will take place each weekday night after 7 p.m. on the Blackrock bypass. Severe delays can be expected. Clonliffe Avenue is closed until early July, while Manor Street at Manor Place will be closed until July 9th.
Until December 17th, Stocking Lane, Rathfarnham, will be closed at the interface with the proposed route on the Southern Cross Motorway. An alternative route is advised via Edmonstown Road and the Mount Venus Road.
Work continues in Sandymount village with delays expected. Roadworks are in place on the New Nangor Road in Clondalkin. These will be ongoing for several months. A section of the Blanchardstown Road North will be closed from its junction with Ballycoolin Crossroads until August 15th. Work will be carried out on Dorset Street Lower at the North Circular Road. Work is under way until July 2nd on the Eglington Road from the Clonskeagh Road to Brookdale Road.
Westmeath
The new N4/N6 Link Road is now open in Kinnegad. This will ease traffic heading to and from the west. Work continues on the N4, east of Rathowen village.
Laois
Resurfacing works takes place in Abbeyleix until the end of November.
Louth
Ongoing work on the N2 north of Ardee until July.
Kildare
Roadworks on Kilcullen Main Street have finished but will recommence on June 14th.
Cork
Until the end of June, the Boreenmanna Road will be closed to traffic east of its junction with Cherry Point to Pairc Christoir Ui Rinn.
Bridge construction work continues on Lancaster Quay. Traffic will not be allowed on the right hand side between the junctions with Little Hanover Street and Woods Street. Bachelor's Quay will close between Devonshire West and Henry Street for two months. Until the end of August, parking has been eliminated on Morrison's Quay from Trinity Bridge as far as the junction with Catherine Street.
Limerick
The Abbey Bridge on the Northern Relief Road is now open. There are new restrictions turning at Baal's Bridge and Nicholas Street and the operation of new traffic signals at Athlunkard Street and Island Road.
Childers Road will be closed from 9.30 a.m. until 9 p.m. until June 19th between the Parkway roundabout and the Tipperary roundabout to facilitate roadworks. Traffic on the N7 should divert at the Parkway roundabout via the city centre to avoid delay. Work is ongoing at the Raheen roundabout.
Offaly
For the next 11 weeks, there will be resurfacing work on the N7 at Dunkerrin on the Cork side of Roscrea.
Donegal
Work continues until July on the Donegal bypass with temporary traffic lights on the N15 just north of Donegal town. Drivers need to exercise extreme caution. Roadworks on the Sligo side of Donegal town continue.
Travel Information
The refurbishment of Connolly Station continues. Major improvement works are taking place on the Sligo rail service. There are alterations to the timetables until mid-July from Monday morning until Friday afternoon each day.
The Isle of Man ferry and the Seacat to Liverpool now leave Dublin Port from Ferry Terminal Five at Pigeon House Road.
