Dublin

Dublin

There will be no right turn from the Annamoe Road on to the North Circular Road until mid-December due to work on a quality bus corridor. Quality bus corridor work continues on the Stillorgan Road. Swifts Road is closed for the next two weeks.

Roadworks continue on the Bray Road outbound at the Belfield flyover between 7.30 a.m. and 4 p.m. Strand Road and Beach Road in Sandymount will be closed to inbound traffic between 9.30 a.m. and 7.30 p.m. Henry Street is closed to traffic. There is resurfacing work on North Strand Road.

Cable work is being carried out on North King Street. Drumcondra Road delays outbound are expected. Travellers to the airport should leave themselves extra time.

Roadworks are under way on Botanic Road, Botanic Avenue, the North Strand Road at Annesley Place, on Finglas Main Street at the Church Street end and on Collins Avenue at Malahide Road.

Limerick

There is single-lane traffic at Oola on the N24 while work is carried out on the railway bridge.

Traffic will be single lane on the N7 Limerick/Dublin road from Sallymount to Daly's Cross from 8 a.m. to 4.30 p.m. on Saturdays. Access to Sir Henry's Mall from Athlunkard Street is limited to business and residential traffic. Roadworks continue at Hassets Cross.

Cork

Traffic at South Main Street, between Liberty Street and Washington Street, remains single lane. The end of Maglin Road, Ballincollig, will be closed to traffic subject to weather conditions.

Waterford

Roadworks continue on the main Dungarvan road, about five miles east of Dungarvan at Pike Hill, with temporary traffic lights operating between 7.45 a.m. and 6 p.m. daily. Roadworks continue at Farran Park. Michael Street is closed due to roadworks.

Meath

Temporary traffic lights are in operation, causing severe delays, on the N3 Navan road about one mile south of Dunshaughlin.

Leitrim

Speed restrictions are in operation due to realignment works on the N16 Sligo/Enniskillen road, about four miles west of Manorhamilton.

Westmeath

There are diversions on the N4 at Ballinafad until further notice.

Roscommon

There are traffic diversions on the N4 Dublin/Sligo road onto the new road over the Curlew mountains. Traffic is also being diverted north of Boyle.

Kerry

Roadwork at Castleisland continues.

Galway

Due to work at the university, the entrance on the Newcastle road has been closed. Traffic should enter via University Road. Roadworks continue on the coast road from Galway to Oranmore.

Refurbishment of Connolly Station in Dublin continues until 1999. The ramp access and exit beside the Financial Services Centre is closed, as is the escalator entrance on Amiens Street.
