Dublin

Dublin

Roadworks on the N1 Dublin-Belfast road at Julianstown, north of the Balbriggan by-pass, will lead to delays until Christmas.

Between 3 p.m. and 6 p.m. daily, delays are expected on the inbound carriageway east of Rathcoole on the Naas dual carriageway (N7).

Between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. until Monday, there will be severe restrictions and diversions in place at Newlands Cross for resurfacing and widening works.

Roadworks on the Bray road roundabout at the Belfield flyover are continuing between 7 a.m. and 4 p.m., while construction of quality bus corridors on the Stillorgan Road and Amiens Street will affect traffic.

Cork

From next week there will be resurfacing on the Cork-Bandon road (N71).

Limerick

There are roadworks on the N7 Limerick-Dublin road from Sallymount to Daly's Cross for the next five months with singlelane traffic 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Monday-Friday, and 8 a.m.4.30 p.m. Saturday.

Waterford

Roadworks and temporary lights are in place on the main Dungarvan road about five miles east of Dungarvan at Pike Hill. They will continue daily from 7.45 a.m. to 6 p.m. for the next three weeks.

Meath

For the next two months there are extensive roadworks on the N3 Navan road, one mile south of Dunshaughlin.

Leitrim

Realignment on the N16 Sligo-Enniskillen road, four miles west of Manorhamilton, will continue until the end of the year.

Westmeath

A diversion due to roadworks will continue on the N4 at Ballinafad.

Roscommon

Traffic on the N4 Dublin-Sligo road is being diverted on to the new road over Curlew Mountain, north of Boyle. The Curlew Mountain by-pass is partially opened from Forest Park outside Boyle linking to outside Ballinafad.

Donegal

There are roadworks on Donegal Road at Letterkenny and on the Sligo side of Donegal town for the next few weeks.

Monaghan

The N2 Monaghan-Dublin road is closed between Annyalla and Clontibret, eight miles south of Monaghan.

Louth

Delays due to resurfacing work on the N2 through Collon village and on the N53 Dundalk-Castleblayney road at Hackballscross will continue for two months.

Carlow

Roadworks on the N9 Carlow-Kilkenny road just south of Carlow will continue for up to three weeks.

Rail Information

Refurbishment of Connolly Station continues. A new station has been opened in Kilcock.

Ferry Sailings

Persistent stormy conditions have disrupted sailings and passengers are advised to contact ferry companies in advance to check arrangements.
