Dublin
Pay-and-display and disc-parking regulations are again in operation today and tomorrow for the start of the May bank holiday. There will be no charge for parking on Sunday or Monday.
Fleet Street will be closed from Bedford Row to Aston Place until June 8th. The exit from Fleet Street car-park will be facilitated at all times.
Drainage works continue at Jervis Street from the Mary Street junction to Parnell Street. Roadworks are also in place on the M50 at the Lucan exit.
Cork
Anderson's Street is closed until the end of June. Henry Street is closed between Millard Street and Grattan Street. Traffic has been reversed to flow from Michael Collins Bridge and Brian Boru Bridge. The Marina is closed until May 20th. Victoria Road is closed between Monahan's Road and Victoria Avenue.
Westmeath
Major roadworks are in place on the N4 for 5 km between Mullingar and Kinnegad. The work will continue between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m today and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. tomorrow.
Laois
Pipe-laying is under way on the Borris Road in Portlaoise. Roadworks continue on the N8 in Abbeyleix.
Limerick
Howley's Quay, Harvey's Quay and Honan's Quay remain closed to northbound traffic.
Tipperary
Nenagh bypass two-way traffic was restored last week. A revised traffic layout is in operation.
Galway
Cable-laying is taking place on the N6 between Loughrea and Oranmore; traffic is down to one lane in each direction. On the N6, between Ballinasloe and Loughrea, construction equipment is in use.
Kerry
Expect delays on the N22 at Farranfore due to pipe-laying.
Aer Rianta
Over 190,000 passengers are expected to pass through Cork, Dublin and Shannon airports over the course of the bank holiday weekend. Dublin Airport expects that over 150,000 will pass through its terminal building; Shannon anticipates 24,000 and Cork will handle over 17,000.
Bus Eireann
Bus Eireann expects to carry up to 100,000 passengers on Expressway and provincial services over the holiday weekend.
