Dublin

Dublin

Traffic has been reduced to one lane from Parnell Street Junction to Jervis Street, due to drainage work.

Road-widening works will affect southbound traffic on the M50 at the tollbridge until the end of July.

Roadworks are ongoing on Finglas Road/Botanic Road, Mellowes Road Bridge and Main Street Finglas. Work on the North Clondalkin QBC is affecting traffic on Cornmarket/Lamb Alley, Thomas Street, Thomas Street West, James's Street, Sarsfield Road/ Ballyfermot Road, Grattan Crescent, Meath Street and Francis Street.

Work on the South Clondalkin QBC is affecting Werburgh Street, Nicholas Street, Patrick Street, Bride Street, Crumlin Road and Drimnagh Road.

Duct-laying work is in place at Skellys Lane, Beaumont Road, Collins Avenue Extension, Collins Avenue, Ballygall Road West, Glasnevin Avenue, North Road, McKee Avenue and Seamus Ennis Road.

There will also be duct-laying work on Sundays on the outbound carriageway in Fairview and on the Malahide Road inbound until August 1st.

Westmeath

Roadworks are in place until August 31st on the N4 for 5 km between Mullingar and Kinnegad. Motorists are advised to drive with care.

Cork

There are delays on the N8 in Fermoy due to resurfacing work. Lavitt's Quay is closed to eastbound traffic between Paul Street car park and St Patrick Street until early November. The southern section of Anderson's Street is closed until the end of September.

Kilkenny

Roadworks are ongoing on the Limerick/Waterford (N24) at Greenside, Carrick-on-Suir adjacent to the Garda station.

Kerry

There are roadworks in place on the N21 Tralee/Limerick Road between Tralee and Castleisland. Temporary traffic lights are in place.

Galway

Roadworks continue on the N6 between Ballinasloe and Loughrea at Aughrim.

Wexford

A stop/go system is in place on the N25 between Garramillan and Newtown for 8.5k m. Occasional temporary lights will be in place.

Laois

The road between the Killeshin Hotel and the Portlaoise General Hospital has been reduced to one lane due to roadworks on the N7. Temporary traffic lights are in operation.

Roscommon

Resurfacing work on the N4 Rockingham to Cortober Road will take place until October. Traffic is reduced to one lane and temporary lights are in operation.

There will be continuing disruptions to rail services this weekend due to the ongoing unofficial ILDA dispute

Aer Rianta

Over 191,000 passengers are expected to pass through Dublin Airport this weekend. An additional 310 sun charter flights have been added to the normal weekend schedule.

Road Deaths

Seven people were killed on the roads this week, bringing the total number of deaths on Irish roads this year to 214.
