Large crowds are expected to attend the Eagles concert in the RDS this Saturday. Doors open from 5 p.m. and the area will be congested throughout the evening.

The northbound carriageway of the M50 between Scholarstown and the Balrothery interchange will be closed from 8 p.m. today until 6 a.m. on Wednesday, July 4th. The northbound ramp at the Scholarstown interchange will also be closed.

Tipperary

Traffic is reduced to one lane and temporary traffic lights are in place at Inane on the N7, on the Nenagh side of the Roscrea.

Waterford

A new section of the N25 is to open today on the western approach to Lemybrien.

The layout straightens the route so extra caution is advised.

Cork

The Guinness Munster Senior Hurling Championship final (Tipperary v Limerick) at Pairce Ui Chaoimh starts at 4.20 p.m.

The Murphy's Irish Open takes place in Fota Island in Cobh. Diversions will operate from 8.30 a.m. to 7 p.m. until Sunday.

Inbound traffic diversions are off the Lower Glanmire Road between Tivoli and Water Street until 6 p.m. Sunday, September 2nd.

There will be no access to Middle Glanmire Road from Colmcille Avenue for the duration of these works.

Iarnrod Eireann

A train will operate this Sunday for GAA fans travelling from Dublin to Cork. The train departs Heuston Station at 9.20 a.m. and returns from Cork at 6.55 p.m.

Extra trains will be operating from Cork and Cobh to Fota Island for the golf tournament, June 28th to July 1st. There is a special entrance to Fota Island course (4th Green) at Fota Island railway station to facilitate golf enthusiasts arriving by rail.

Over 215,000 passengers are expected to pass through Dublin Airport this weekend with over 375 charter flights, mainly to sun destinations, being added to the normal schedule. Passengers should allow sufficient time to comply with check-in regulations.

Road Deaths

There have been three deaths on Irish roads this week, bringing to 181 the total killed so far this year, 20 for the month of June.
