Jerusalem - Israel's Attorney General announced yesterday he was advising the police to open an investigation into allegations that President Ezer Weizman acted illegally by accepting large sums of money from a friend.
"We've decided to continue the investigation into the affair. . . We've told the general supervisor that the police must act as quickly as possible. We've told the President's attorney," the Attorney General, Mr Elyakim Rubinstein, said.
