Among the various specialist breaks being offered as part of their 1998 Activity Programme, the Blarney Park Hotel is featuring a five-day series of tastings with Sandy O'Byrne, entitled "Matching Food and Wine". Between April 19th and 24th, O'Byrne will explore how different styles of wine bring out the best in food. The five-night event costs £260 per person sharing. The Blarney Park will also feature the talents of its chef, Liam Keating, who conducts a five-day course concentrating on pasta sauces, between May 17th and 22nd.
