A 39-year-old woman has died following a collision between a car and a truck in Co Westmeath this afternoon.
Garda at Mullingar are investigating the crash on the N52 at Robinstown, Delvin on the Clonmellon Road at about 2pm.
The woman who died was the driver and sole occupant of the car. She was pronounced dead at the Midland Regional Hospital Mullingar.
The truck driver did not require hospital treatment.

The road is currently closed for an examination by Garda investigators and diversions are in place.
Gardaí have called on any witnesses to contact them.
