Los Angeles - The trial of presumed former Symbionese Liberation Army (SLA) member Ms Sara Jane Olson started on Monday, more than 25 years after the now mother of three allegedly placed bombs - which never exploded - under Los Angeles police cars.
But attorneys for the defence want to have the trial postponed, arguing that jurors' perceptions were affected by the September 11th terrorist attacks in the United States. The bombs were allegedly placed in retaliation for a shootout that killed six members of the radical SLA.
