A 23-year-old woman arrested in relation to an assault in Drogheda, Co Louth, yesterday has been released without charge.
A file has been sent to the DPP. Gardaí in Drogheda arrested the woman in relation to the assault which took place at Rowan Heights, Marley's Lane, Drogheda, at approximately 3am yesterday.
A 29-year-old-man was discovered in a driveway in the housing estate with serious head injuries.
He was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda, but was later transferred to Beaumont Hospital.
