YOU have two weeks to get your profile in shape, dye your hair red and paint on those freckles. Polly Mellon, editor of the US fashion magazine Allure, will be in town for a week starting April 19th to do a big Irish fashion - shoot and she is sure to want local characters in the background. The face of Chanel, Stella Tennant, will act as principal model - she's the granddaughter of the Duke and Duchess of Devonshire and will no doubt be invited for a tea or two at Lismore Castle; while in Dublin she and an entourage of eight from the magazine will kip down at the Clarence Hotel.
Meanwhile, international fashion photographer Perry Ogden, who recently settled in Dublin with a studio in Capel Street and flat in Molesworth Street, has a spread in this month's French issue of Vogue. He is preparing an exhibition which will be opened by the President, Mrs Robinson, in May. Called The Urban Cowboy, the photographs will be hung outdoors in Smithfield, site of the old horse market.
