Ian Woosnam has received an invitation to next month's US PGA championship.
The Welshman, who had to qualify for last week's British Open, has dropped to 147th in the official world rankings but has played every US PGA since his debut in 1986.
Lee Westwood, now a lowly 209th, was yesterday offered a place in the starting line-up at Oak Hill.
A total of 27 Europeans will take part and six will be making their debuts - Brian Davis, Luke Donald, Bradley Dredge, Gary Evans, Alastair Forsyth and Fredrik Jacobson.
