More than 200 workers have been evacuated from an oil platform in the North Sea after an oil leak.
No-one was injured in the incident which was described as a "severe situation".
Ola Morten Aanestad, a spokesman for the platform's operator StatoilHydro ASA, said: "Two people were exposed when it happened, but they're OK."
Mr Aanestad said 217 people were evacuated by rescue helicopters to nearby platforms after the leak was detected at the Statfjord A platform early today.
About 60 workers with emergency tasks remained on the platform.
He said workers were performing maintenance work on an oil pipe in one of the platform shafts when the leak occurred.
