Carrie Johnson says the couple are ‘hoping for our rainbow baby’ in Instagram post

British prime minister Boris Johnson and his wife Carrie are expecting a second baby.

Their first child, Wilfred, was born in April last year.

Ms Johnson posted on Instagram that she and the prime minister are expecting a second child together.

In her social media post, Ms Johnson wrote: “Hoping for our rainbow baby this Christmas.

“At the beginning of the year, I had a miscarriage which left me heartbroken.

“I feel incredibly blessed to be pregnant again but I’ve also felt like a bag of nerves.”
