Lord Jenkins of Hillhead, otherwise known as Woy Jenkins, is to deliver the first Brian Lenihan annual lecture in the Institute of European Affairs in North Great Georges Street on Monday. The late minister was a great supporter of the institute and as well as Lenihan's family, including his widow Anne, his sister, Minister Mary O'Rourke and his two TD sons, Brian and Conor, there will be a big turn-out of Irish Europhiles among the 100-plus attending. Woy's subject will be foreign affairs, so no doubt he'll have a lot to say about the war, and the reply will be delivered by former tanaiste John Wilson. There's a dinner afterwards in the Joyce Centre across the street for the Lenihan family and the speakers.
