Real Madrid star Zinedine Zidane has urged Patrick Vieira to leave Arsenal.
Vieira's future at Highbury is in the balance. Arsenal have held talks with Juventus officials and Vieira's situation will be discussed at a board meeting next week.
But the Turin club could face opposition from Real, who were close to signing Vieira last summer only for the 29-year-old to stay at Arsenal and lead the club to FA Cup glory.
Zidane, who played alongside Vieira with France in the World Cup and European Championships, said: "After eight years at one club it would be good for Patrick to have a big move. He is still at an age where he is at the top of his game."
