Moynalty is in Co Meath, not Westmeath, as stated in the Horizons column in Saturday's Weekend supplement.

An article in Out of the West on January 22nd referred to the construction by Mr Jarlath Cunnane of a replica vessel used for an Irish expedition to Antarctica in January 1997. Mr Michael Kennedy would like to clarify that, while the vessel was designed by Mr Cunnane, he actually built it.

A model of the Fastnet lighthouse was shown in yesterday's photograph on page 7, not the Mizen Head lighthouse as stated.
