An article published in our editions of April 7th, 2001, entitled "£3,000 a week charge for children in care" stated that Children's Community Centres Limited was set up by Derek Nally, former presidential candidate and former General Secretary of the Association of Garda Sergeants and Inspectors and that the service provided by this company was originally run by Secureway, another of Mr Nally's companies. Mr Nally has asked us to point out that he was never associated with Children's Community Centres Limited and has not been a shareholder or director of Secureway Limited since June 2000.
We apologise to Mr Nally for any embarrassment caused to him by any inaccuracies.
