In yesterday’s edition, a heading over an article and its first paragraph said that the Ombudsman for Children had launched an investigation into the standard of care available to children seeking asylum. The ombudsman’s office has pointed out that what is carried out is a consultation with the children (as was stated later in the article) and not an investigation.
