Sir, - Reform is welcome if it reduces corruption among politicians, if it reminds them that their primary loyalty is to their electorate, and that their party comes second to this consideration.
Reform is not acceptable if it interferes with PR, which provides the only means for the small man to break into politics. The political hierarchy already tends to operate a dangerous closed shop system, and any move away from PR would only bolster this practice. - Yours, etc.,
