Madam, - While the Government's proposed transport projects for the next 10 years are undoubtedly to be welcomed, I wonder why there are no plans for a modest rail link connecting Limerick and Ennis with Shannon Airport. Also, why are there no plans for a western rail corridor from Cork to Sligo?
In the interests of balanced regional development and environmental protection, I believe such projects to be necessary. - Yours, etc,
