Sir, - In her stimulating feature (June 13th) on this exhibition, Kathy Sheridan highlighted a recent visit by the Catholic and Presbyterian congregations of Crumlin, County Antrim. Your readers may be interested to know that this visit was organised as part of an outreach programme supported by the Community Relations Council of Northern Ireland. This programme is generously funded by the European Union's Special Support Programme for Peace and Reconciliation in Northern Ireland.
Under this programme, community groups based in areas of Northern Ireland, which have been polarised by the Troubles, qualify for free admission to the 1798 exhibition. We look forward to welcoming many more such groups to our exhibition, which runs until August 31st. - Yours, etc., Jane Leonard,
1798 Community Outreach Officer,
