Sir, – Public representatives are rushing to condemn the arson attack on a premises in Ringsend, Dublin, which was being redeveloped into homes.
The Dublin Homeless Executive is being criticised for not informing locals on the intended use (“Homelessness chief defends communication strategy amid criticism following Ringsend arson attack”, News, January 3rd). Isn’t it time we stop blaming the victims of crime? – Yours, etc,
