A chara, – Further to “European Commission recommends ambitious new climate targets but ditches plan to curb pesticide use” (World, February 6th), I am not sure which alarmed me more regarding the withdrawal of the measure aimed at reducing pesticides by the European Commission – the actual withdrawal of the proposal or the reason given.
