Madam, - This is a short letter to ask you to distinguish a Mr David Dillon with an address in Blackrock from myself, who also live in Blackrock.

This gentleman, I believe, sent a number of letters published in your newspaper in recent times and invariably when a letter appears from David Dillon a significant number of people ascribe the letters to me. I am not saying that I have disagreed with all of the points made in Mr Dillon's letters, but I cannot say that I have agreed with all of them either.

I am not sure how you can ensure that there is no confusion in this matter but when future letters are published on behalf of David Dillon, perhaps if you were to point out that there are two David Dillons living in Blackrock, at least then my acquaintances and business colleagues would consider the possibility that the letter was not written by myself. - Yours, etc,

DAVID WILLIAM DILLON, Stillorgan Park, Blackrock, Co Dublin.
