Madam, - My wife and I recently spent a pleasant three-week vacation in Dublin, where I was born. We were impressed by the benefits your senior citizens enjoy, much more than Canadian seniors receive. We were sorry to see no improvement in the pubs, the awful food and, on Sundays, kids running wild. We heard many suggestions for a unique Dublin symbol - apparently the Spire doesn't cut it.
Here's my two cent worth: Erect a huge rotating halfpenny at the Ha'penny Bridge. I think it would become a famous landmark in no time. - Yours, etc,
WILLIAM BEDFORD, Toronto, Canada.
