Sir, - Bravo to Kevin Myers for his excellent article regarding Irish airport duty-free shops. As a frequent visitor to Ireland, I am appalled at the prices charged for certain items in those shops. Permit me to cite an example of what I consider to be a complete rip-off. A tin of Jacob's Afternoon Tea Biscuits can be bought in Dunnes Stores for £10.20 . In the Shannon duty-free food shop, the cost is £12.00. I would hardly call that duty-free! It's more akin to cheating innocent airline passengers! Wake up, Aer Rianta! - Yours etc.,
