Sir, - Michael O'Leary has yet again promised to bring a million additional passengers to Ireland on new routes if only airport charges were reduced .
At Dublin Cork and Shannon airports there are no airport charges whatsoever for new routes for up to the first three years, so what is Michael waiting for?
This year Dublin Airport will have in excess of 14 million passengers, which will be more than last year despite foot and mouth and the recent tragic events in the USA. The airport has 69 airlines serving 118 destinations. - Yours, etc.,
John Burke, Chief Executive, Aer Rianta.
