Madam, – I read that the VHI is forecasting a 6-7 per cent increase in its charges for the coming years (Business, July 2nd). That leaves me with the unenviable task of deciding whether I should die from starvation or from serious illness, as I will not be able to cater for both circumstances.
Does the VHI have a Helpline to advise me which might be the less painful option? – Yours, etc,
