Madam, - Your report "Call for return of hospital to community use" ( The Irish Times, May 18th) attributes St Finian's, the Killarney Asylum, to the architect Fuller in a surprisingly authoritative way.

The Killarney Asylum was an important building of its time designed by the Cork architects Deane and Woodward in 1847 and opened in 1852.
