Sir, - As we all know, the peace process, in which the US played a crucial role, has reached an impasse on arms decommissioning. Isn't ironic therefore that the source of a sizeable proportion of the weapons is the US?
Freedom to bear arms is an important principle in American democracy but when six-year-olds start shooting each other perhaps it's time to reconsider "freedom". In fact, for all our sakes, perhaps the American people should decommission.
