I have driven across Germany into Austria on an autobahn and nothing is further from the truth. There is no upper speed limit on most of the autobahns, and speeds generally observed are in the region of 100mph. But dangerous driving will be severely punished.
Driving standards in Germany, and on the Autobahns in particular, are exceptionally high, and I suggest Y takes a trip and becomes better informed before writing about it. - Yours, etc.,
