Madam, - James Moran asks (July 29th) if there can be any doubt that religion is the greatest curse afflicting humanity. I would suggest that, apart from war, famine and disease, intolerance is an even greater scourge and Mr Moran would appear to have acquired quite an adequate degree of the same without any help form, or brainwashing by, religion, denominational or otherwise. - Yours, etc,
