Sir, - I am truly appalled to hear, on the radio, that the body of the young man found dead in a field in Tralee was still there over 24 hours later. What has become of us as a nation, that this is an acceptable state of affairs to the authorities?
I do believe no blame whatsoever can be laid on Dr John Harbison, our overworked State Pathologist. Surely provision can be made to increase the staff of the State Pathologist's department, so that the dead can be assured of the respect they deserve. - Yours, etc.,
