Sir, - Sean Murphy (February 3rd) is not alone in finding the two pages you usually devote to book reviews inadequate. We are a small publisher specialising in books of general Irish interest. Over the past three years we've produced a variety of titles covering politics, humour, local history, biography and fiction. We've been reviewed at one time or another in all the other national newspapers (including one owned by the much-reviled Rupert Murdoch!). But the review pages of The Irish Times remain a closed book to us. Perhaps it's time to include in our forthcoming list a dead 19th-century German novelist and an Irish poet or two. - Yours, etc.,
