BORD NA MONA ACCOUNTS

Sir, The Comptroller and Auditor General has asked me to refer to the letter from Mr D Walsh (June 21st) regarding the audit of the accounts of Bord na Mona.

I wish to inform you that the Bord na Mona accounts for the year ending March 31st, 1989, were the final accounts audited by the Comptroller and Auditor General. The accounts have been subject to audit by a private firm of accountants with effect from April 1st, 1989. - Yours, etc.,
