Charging for information

Madam, - There has been a fall of 69 per cent in the number of requests under the Freedom of Information Act. Surely there should be a matched fall in the fee for such requests. The Information Commissioner, Ms Emily O'Reilly, has attributed this fall mainly to the levying of the fee on requests.
