Sir, - John Waters (October 26th) contends that "all serious conditions which are capable of affecting both genders tend to strike down men much earlier in life." Mr Waters is himself a case in point. Chronic, virulent misogyny (CVM) is a disease that has adverse affects on more women than men, in general. However, if his worsening symptoms are anything to go by e.g. the violent, raging fulmination's against women, which appear like clockwork with every column deadline, then it looks as though Mr Waters's nasty dose of CVM may soon give him a heart attack. - Yours, etc.,
