Sir, - I am sick to death of the repetitious juxtaposition of the names of President Clinton and that woman. I give an example: "President Clinton is totally committed to peace in Northern Ireland but the shadow of .. . still hangs over him." Ditto about the Middle East peace pact. Do media people think that we are mindless morons with a milligram of memory?
Reporters who keep repeating this nonsense are like discs gone do-lally, stuck forever on one name. It would be in their best interests to go on a brain-transplant waiting list. May I point out that one could say or write a sentence as follows: President Clinton is delighted with the results of the recent elections. Period. The next sentence might even read: The Republicans are concerned about their election results. Period. - Yours, etc., Criona Garvey,
