Sir, - One of this country's leading home-grown businessmen flies in and out by private jet, apparently unavailable either to appear before a public tribunal or to pay Irish taxes. Reported on the same day in your paper, a foreign, private art collector suffers yet another violent burglary from the priceless collection she brought to Ireland and from the house she lavishly restored, both of which she has already donated to this State.
It's an interesting comparison in public and personal values. - Yours, etc.,
Robin Patterson, Adelaide Road, Dublin 2.
