Sir, - Your edition of September 24th published a USI survey of student PC ratios at UCD and other universities. The information in relation to UCD is inaccurate.
There are currently 17,906 registered students attending UCD. The total number of desktop computers provided is 1,350. This makes the ratio of PCs per student 1:13.5 and not 1:16 as published in your report. In addition to centrally provided PCs, individual faculties with computer-intensive courses provide addition facilities to supplement the base PC numbers. - Yours, etc.,
