Sir, - Referring to Belfast's new Waterfront Hall, Michael Dervan asks "What would you think if Dublin Corporation had just bequeathed the city a £32 million concert hall'?" (Straight From The Arts, January 30th).
I think that if Dublin Corporation turns the recently acquired National Ballroom on Parnell Square into well designed performance space, the citizens of Dublin would be more than happy. This is the plan, isn't it? - Yours, etc.,
