Madam, - Supt Seán Corcoran was correct in expressing concern about the Guinness advertisement featuring the Cliffs of Moher (The Irish Times, May 5th). Its context - a young man, alcohol, personal issues and a cliff face - should have alerted somebody in Guinness or RTÉ that the ad was totally inappropriate, given the continuing tragedy of suicide in Ireland today. - Yours, etc.,
