Madam, – John Fleming’s analysis of Vincent Keaney’s protest at Charles Haughey’s grave (Opinion, September 10th) has inspired me.

Perhaps we should have a no-holds-barred National Grave Dancing Weekend to coincide with the Roman Catholic Mass boycott later this month?

I would be very keen to participate, but most of those on whose graves I would like to dance provocatively are still alive. It would be ideal if someone might devise an alternative scheme to remedy this. Perhaps dancing on their flower beds, car roofs, family pets, elderly parents, or small children? Or do you think this might be taking things too far or, worse still, lack artistic sophistication? – Yours, etc,
