Madam, – My admiration for Charles Darwin has increased enormously following the publication in your edition of February 13th of a photograph of the Dean’s verger at Westminster Abbey laying a wreath on Darwin’s grave there. According to the caption, the helleborus and berberis darwinii plants were discovered by the famous botanist in 1885, while the gravestone inscription clearly indicates that Darwin died in 1882. Impressive. – Yours, etc,
